APPEAL TO DOG OWNERS AFTER LAMBS SAVAGED ON FAMILY FARM

first_imgPeople have been asked to know where their dogs at all times after a savage attack on lambs on a Kerrykeel farm.UP to nine lambs were killed after a savage attack on a farm.Up to nine lambs worth €900 were savaged by a dog overnight with one of the lambs beheaded.The family whose farm was targeted believe a collie dog was responsible for the attack. The three week old lambs were all attacked by the neck.Former Donegal IFA chairman PJ McMonagle pleaded with people to know where their dogs are.“Dogs are crafty creatures and they will appear to be the perfect pet but when they get out with other dogs, they can turn into killers.“People have to know where their dogs are at all times,” he said.
