Nubia Red Magic 3 will be more powerful than iPhone XS, claims AnTuTu benchmark score

first_imgThe first few months of 2019 have seen a lot of launches in the flagship smartphone segment. Samsung came up with its Galaxy S10 series of phones as well as the foldable Galaxy Fold smartphone. The Huawei Mate X and the P30 Pro have shown incredible technological advances as well. However, Chinese manufacturer Nubia has rumours floating around its next smartphone, which is supposed to be the most powerful smartphone this year. Now, we have some concrete information on the device that does indicate the Red Magic 3 to be a vastly powerful smartphone.Nubia has released the AnTuTu scores for the Red Magic 3. The device in its pre-launch status has managed to lead the charts with a score of 437,522. This score is substantially higher than all the other phones with a Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Red Magic 3’s score even beats the latest iPhone AnTuTu scores. This shows that the device will be extremely capable in terms of raw performance.Part of achieving such a high AnTuTu score is because of its Qualcomm processor. The Red Magic 3, like all other flagship smartphones in the world, will be relying on the Snapdragon 855 chipset. Nubia has already confirmed that the Red Magic 3 will ship with up to 12GB RAM. Moreover, it will run on Android 9 Pie, with some variants expected to get a stock Android interface. While Nubia hasn’t given anything on the battery capacity, it is known that a 30W fast charging solution will fill up the tank quicker than the older models.advertisementNubia’s Red Magic devices have always been known to rule the AnTuTu charts. The Red Magic Mars, which never made it to the Indian market, sat on the top of the AnTuTu chart until the phones with Snapdragon 855 started rolling out. Nubia managed to beat the Kirin 980-powered Huawei Mate 20 Pro with a generation older Snapdragon 845 chip – thanks to immense optimization. Currently, most Snapdragon 855-powered smartphones don’t manage to cross the 400,000 mark on AnTuTu and the Red Magic is the only one that scores way beyond that. The Red Magic 3 is rumoured to sport some serious hardware additions to achieve those performance figures. Nubia says the Red Magic 3 will carry over the shoulder buttons and the RGB LED light strip from the previous models. Rumours even say that the phone will have a dual cooling system – a liquid cooling system as well as an air cooling system. The Red Magic 3 is expected to feature actual fans inside to vent heat out of the system and keep the internals cool for delivering optimum performance. The Red Magic 3 is supposed to launch in India after its global debut and Nubia could price it aggressively against the likes of OnePlus 6T and Honor View 20.ALSO READ | Nubia Red Magic review: A phone fast at running games but that is allALSO READ | Nubia shows Alpha flexible smartwatch and 5G smartphone at MWC 2019ALSO READ | Forget 5G and foldable phones, 10X zoom camera from Oppo at MWC 2019 is tech you need to know aboutlast_img read more

Miranda Lamberts MuttNation Foundation Helps Mutts Across America

first_imgMiranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation is thrilled to announce their Mutts Across America: 50 States/50 Shelters initiative.A total of $253,660 was donated to shelters in each of the 50 states, with the minimum donation to an individual shelter being $3000.Miranda Lambert said, “We are thrilled to be able to reach out to every state and recognize shelters and organizations working at a grassroots level to help animals. It’s those people on the ground, day in and day out, who really make a huge difference.”The MuttNation Foundation board along with partners at the RACE (Ran’s Animal Care Express) team worked diligently to find the most deserving shelters in each of the 50 states. Operating under the premise that fans, friends, colleagues and benefactors across the US have sown into MuttNation Foundation in the past year, they launched a plan to select a shelter in each of the 50 states to lend a financial hand. The criteria used in their decision to grant funds were:• High adoption per intake rate: At least 90% successful adoption rate. Low euthanasia rate (10%)• High volunteerism: People rarely jump on/stay on a sinking ship.• Are they fiscally responsible? (Low administrative/staff costs)• High activity/fundraising. Are they working hard to earn income?• Do they have a specialty – MNF selected a zoo, a horse sanctuary, disabled pet farm, and an elderly/senior pet sanctuary, a last chance rescue for animals from other shelters and a blind farm to name a few.• Do they work outside of the shelter to adopt out or minister to elderly, schools, etc.? Do they have a presence in the community?• Is the website up to date with activity? Do they send newsletters? Are they current? Do they appear to still have the “fire”?•Are they heavily advocating/helping in spay and neuter campaigns, clinics and activities?• Are the hours of operation conducive with adequate adoption times? EX: are they open on weekends, nights, and/or weekdays? How many hours? As explained by MNF co-founder Bev Lambert, “We believe these criteria enabled us to find those shelters standing as examples in the fight to end animal homelessness, abuse and neglect as well as those that encourage adoption, spay and neuter programs and avoid needless euthanasia. We are confident and proud to award funding to the shelters we selected so they may continue the efforts that they have exhibited in the fight.”A complete list of the shelters that received donations is available at www.muttnationfoundation.com.Miranda’s love of animals led to the formation of MuttNation. The foundation has successfully raised money across the country in order to aid organizations, government institutions or entities that build animal shelters for better care, increased pet adoption and encouragement of responsible pet guardianship, rehabilitation of sick or unsocialized animals, spay/neuter programs, reduce/eliminate euthanasia of healthy animals, and train shelter dogs for purposes of therapy programs, assistance for wounded military personnel, and dogs-in-prisons programs. The mission of the organization is to end animal suffering and homelessness on every front.Donations can always be made at www.muttnationfoundation.com.last_img read more
